ABC packing list: what I bought in Dhaka vs rented in Pokhara

A frank split of what is worth carrying from Dhaka and what is cheaper to rent in Thamel.

A 40-55L pack is cheaper to rent in Thamel than buy in Dhaka. Same for trekking poles and a -10C sleeping bag. What is worth buying in Dhaka: rain cover, dry bag, headlamp, packing cubes, scale.

This list is what I actually carried and what I regretted.
